Johan Byrén

Johan grew up in a small town in the countryside and when he was forced to “become a man,” the next step was the military. After the training to “protect our king” was completed, he moved to Örebro to settle down. There, he met his lovely salsa-dancing Latina, Jaqueline, with whom he’s now dancing thru life between diapers, house chores, and preschool pickups with their son Melvin. Johan will see the fun and competitiveness in everything he does. He couldn’t even pick up a frisbee at middle school without trying to be the best at it – and now plays Ultimate frisbee for KFUM Örebro as the captain and co-coach. He has been around the world at world championships with both KFUM and the Swedish national team. The serverless journey started a couple of years ago. On that journey, Johan got to know some talented developers that also got to be excellent friends. To bring these people together and start Elva Örebro is the most exciting thing he can think of right now.

Besides building Elva, he’s working with Postnord to bring their business portal to the next level. Working in teams to solve a problem with #serverless and AWS is the perfect environment where Johan thrives and grows.
